The bench is crafted from premium solid wood (such as Mango, Sheesham or similar hardwood) and features hand-woven cane (rattan/cane webbing) on the seating/back as specified. It’s designed for durability while keeping a light, natural aesthetic.
The standard size is listed on the product page (please check “Dimensions” section). If you need a custom size (width, depth or height) to fit a specific space, you can request bespoke sizing via our “Custom Order” option and we’ll quote the adjustment.
The solid wood frame and woven cane design support typical seating loads — for example 2–3 people (depending on width) or up to ~250-300 kg in distributed load. If you have a heavy use case (public/hospitality/contract) please contact us to confirm suitability.
Yes — cane webbing offers a comfortable, slightly springy surface that breathes (cooler in warm weather). Over time the cane may naturally relax slightly; we recommend occasional re-tightening or re-weaving for heavy use. Avoid dragging sharp or heavy objects across it.
The bench is typically finished with clear or tinted varnish/lacquer suited for indoor use. If you plan for covered veranda or semi-outdoor use, we recommend a weather-resistant finish and occasional maintenance (re-varnish). Full outdoor exposure (rain/sun) may reduce lifespan unless treated accordingly.
Dust regularly with a soft cloth or vacuum with brush attachment. For wood, use a slightly damp cloth occasionally and dry immediately. For the cane, avoid soaking — if needed, wipe gently with a damp cloth. Refinish wood surfaces every couple of years (or sooner if high usage) to protect from wear and moisture.
Lead time is listed on the product page (often X-Y weeks depending on stock & finish). The bench is shipped with protective packaging and delivered to your doorstep. Final installation or placement (if heavy) may require two people; we recommend checking the floor space and path prior to delivery.
Yes — customization options are available. You may choose a different wood species, finish tone (light/medium/dark), or even cane colour (natural/black). Please use the “Customise” option or contact sales with your requirements. Additional cost/time may apply.
Absolutely. The bench works well in entryways, hallways, as a seating accent in living rooms, or even at the foot of a bed. Choose the narrower width version (if available) or request a custom width to fit your space while retaining comfort and style.
We offer a standard warranty covering manufacturing defects in wood joinery and cane weaving for X months from delivery (see full policy). Please inspect the product at delivery and report any damage or defect within Y days. Returns or replacement are subject to terms (unopened items/customisations may be excluded) — please refer to our “Returns & Refunds” section for full details.
